Delfi and Bea reign in Finnish lands!

The Spanish-Argentine duo, Bea and Delfi, added a fourth title to their record this season, and will also go down in history by being the first players to win a professional title on Finnish soil. With this victory, they have accumulated four titles since they began playing together: three in the World Padel Tour and one in the Premier Padel.

In the final, they faced Alejandra Salazar and Sofia Araújo, who reached this stage in their first tournament as a couple. Furthermore, Alejandra had been out of the competition for three months, which took its toll against the formidable duo of Delfi Brea and Bea González. From the beginning, Delfi and Bea showed their level by getting a break early in the match. Although Alejandra and Sofía fought to equalize the contest in the first set, reaching a 3-3 draw, they finally gave in after suffering a counterbreak on the golden point. Delfi and Bea, wanting to close the set quickly, had four break chances in the ninth game, but Alejandra and Sofía defended them valiantly, forcing the number 4s to hold serve. However, Delfi and Bea stood firm and closed the set with a score of 6-4.

The second set was completely under the dominance of the Argentine-Spanish pair, from the beginning to the end. Alejandra and Sofía could not hold their serves and only managed to break their opponents’ serve in the fourth game. Delfina Brea took the reins of the match, while Bea González punished her rivals, achieving a convincing 6-1, which ensured her victory.
