While the best players in the world compete for the title at the FIP PLATINUM Sardegna in Cagliari, this weekend there will also be an important youth padel tournament in Italy, in Ancona.

The tournament, which is part of the FIP PROMISES circuit, will have five categories on the track: three men’s (under 14, under 16 and under 18) and two women’s (under 14 and under 18).

In the under 14 category, the favorites are Vicente Soto and Álvaro Bartolomé, who have already won several stages of the tour. Italians Gabriele Laurino and Alessandro Stella are the number 2 seeds.

In the under 16 category, Enzo Vista and Antonio Veneziani lead the list of entries, followed by Stefano Indomenico and Alessandro Pirrotta. The under 18 tournament will be played in two rounds of three couples each.

In the women’s category, the formula will be round robin in both categories. In the sub 14, five couples will compete for the title, while in the sub 18 there will be as many.
The tournament will be held from October 6 to 8 at the Bola Padel Next in Ancona.
