The leaders of the World Padel Tour rankings, Arturo Coello and Agustín Tapia, and Alejandro Galán and Juan Lebron, suffered in their debut at the Menorca Open.

Coello and Tapia beat Ramiro Moyano and Xisco Gil in three sets, after coming back from 2-0 in the second set. Galán and Lebron also had to come back from a set down to defeat Álex Arroyo and Edu Alonso.

Lucho Capra and Álex Chozas also had problems defeating Nacho Vilariño and Salva Oria.

Juan Martín Díaz and Miguel Lamperti and Pablo Cardona and Javi Ruiz won their matches more easily.

Franco Stupaczuk and Martín Di Nenno defeated José Antonio García Diestro and Javi Leal 6-2 and 6-3.

Analysis:

The results of the day on Tuesday, October 23, showed that the leaders of the World Padel Tour ranking are not exempt from difficulties. Coello and Tapia, and Galán and Lebron, had to come back to win their games. This may be a sign that competition on the circuit is increasing.

However, Stupaczuk and Di Nenno, who are the main contenders for the title, had no problems winning their match. This shows that they are still the couple to beat.

The round of 16 of the Menorca Open will be played on Wednesday, October 24.
