The eight European couples that will seek the two tickets at stake for the Miami Master are already known. Once again in the Spanish capital, the European qualifying previews for the last Master of the A1 Padel season were held, which will be held in Miami in the week of November 6 to 12.
Of the 64 that began their journey to the United States on Friday, only eight remain in competition, among them the first favorites, Igor Amondarain and Antonio González, who in a tough match came back from a set down against Nicolás Córdoba and Juan Zamora (6/7 6/1 6/2). Their rivals tomorrow Sunday for a place in the finals will be Diego Nieto and Ismael Dieguez who beat Adrián Abancen and Jorge Martínez 6/3 6/1.
The tenth seeds of this phase, David Antolín and Alejandro Catón, eliminated the second favorites, Luis Oliver and Marc Pou, by 6/3 6/4. The next duel will be tomorrow against Arturo Hernando and Javier Collantes who won by a double 6/0 against Karlos and Iker González. Another tie will pit Héctor Vázquez and Pedro Díaz against Juan Gama and the Swede Douglas Rutgersson. The former defeated Alberto Molina and Jorge Morales 6/3 7/6, while Gama-Rutgersson eliminated Manuel Castaño and Javier García 6/2 6/1.
In the last two matches of Saturday, Belar Vera and Víctor Tur defeated Rubén Cuevas and Adrián Naranjo by a tight 6/4 7/6, and will be the rivals of Mariano González and Facundo Dehnike who defeated 6/3 6/1 to Cristian Arias and Alberto Gasca.
