Dani Blanco and Rodrigo López, first victory in the New York Grand Master

The Spaniards Dani Blanco and Rodrigo López became the first winners of the professional padel tournament in New York, after defeating the Argentines Maxi Maldonado and Fabricio Peirón in three sets.

The match, which was played on the center court at the Wollman Rink in Central Park, was very exciting. The Spaniards took the lead in the first set 6-3, but the Argentines equalized the score in the second, which was decided in the tie-break.

Andrada-Parra and the Deus brothers will face the winners of the matches between De Pascual-Alfonso vs. Santellán-Castañeyra and Res-Segura vs. Frugoni-Abud, respectively.
