After the Amsterdam Open there has been a succession of partner changes for the next World Padel Tour tournament. The Menorca Open, which will be held between October 21 and 29, will bring with it several changes of partners. Some of these changes occur due to injury, and other changes in search of changing course after the latest results obtained.

One of these new couples will be Gonzalo Rubio and Pincho Fernández. Both form a new couple after not having obtained the desired results with their previous couples and will seek compensation in this union. Rubio puts an end to his relationship with Álex Arroyo and Fernández does the same with Pablo Cardona. Álex Arroyo’s new partner will be Edu Alonso while Pablo Cardona will join Javi Ruiz for this Menorca tournament.

Juan Cruz Bellauti, the now former partner of Javi Ruiz, will be the new partner of Arnau Ayats, a couple who will take their first steps in Menorca. Others who will share the side of the court will be Álvaro Cepero and Mario del Castillo, a union that occurs later after the departure of Álex Chozas. José Rico and Miguel Benítez will be teammates for this tournament, as will Teo Zapata and Fran Guerreo, after the departure of Arnau Ayats.

New couples formed due to injury

Some of the new couples that will debut at the Menorca Open will do so due to injuries to several players. This has forced his teammates to find new companions for the next tournament on the calendar. One of those who will be partnering for the first time in the Menorca tournament will be Miguel Yanguas who will not have Fernando Belasteguín by his side due to elbow discomfort.

Yanguas’ partner will be Víctor Ruíz, who like Yanguas, his usual partner, Lucas Bergamini, will not be able to accompany him because he is recovering from the injury he suffered in the round of 16 of the German Open. Miguel Yanguas and Víctor Ruíz will join forces in this tournament and will try to give their all and get the maximum points possible.

Another couple that emerges for this Menorca Open due to injury is Lucho Capra and Álex Chozas. Lucho Capra’s regular partner, Maxi Sánchez, suffered an injury when they faced off against Fede Chingotto and Paquito Navarro in Amsterdam. Capra will now form with Álex Chozas for this tournament, a combination of Capra’s experience and Chozas’ youth that can be beneficial for both parties.
