The 'next gene' of world padel is scheduled to take place in Spain and Holland

This weekend two FIP PROMISES tournaments will be held, the circuit reserved for the ‘next gen’ of world padel.

In Spain, at the Calzada de Gran Canaria Paddle Club, a tournament is held with five rounds: Sub 14 (round robin of five couples), Sub 16 (seven couples divided into two rounds, the first two of each group pass to semifinals), Under 18 men (two rounds of four, same formula as Under 16), Under 16 and Under 18 women, both with the round robin formula of four couples.

In Holland, at the Padel Centrum Noord Limburg in Venray, there is a “classic” eliminatory draw for the under 14 men and a round robin of three pairs for the under 16s. Among the women, there was a round of three for the under 14s. as for the sub 16.

FIP PROMISES tournaments are an opportunity for young players to showcase their talent and compete against the best of their generation. This weekend, there will be some very interesting matches, such as the confrontation between Vicente Soto and Aarón García in the Venray tournament.
